A Home Should Hold the Life you Live

Thoughtful Remodeling & Design-Build Services in Southwest Washington.

Precision, permanence, and understated elegance in every detail.

Most homeowners don’t start thinking about remodeling because they want new cabinets, a larger deck, or more square footage. They start because something isn’t working anymore.

The kitchen that bottlenecks every morning. The dining room that sits empty while everyone gathers somewhere else. The spare bedroom that’s become an office, a gym, and a storage place all at once. The deck that’s too small for family dinners. The home that fit perfectly but no longer reflects the way life is unfolding inside it.

At Wynthor, we believe great remodeling begins by understanding people before projects. We design and build kitchens, whole-home renovations, additions, and outdoor living spaces for homeowners throughout Clark, Cowlitz, and Lewis Counties. Every project is guided by thoughtful planning, skilled execution, transparent communication, and a commitment to creating spaces that remain beautiful, functional, and enduring for years to come.

Whether you’re creating room for a growing family, adapting your home for the future, improving accessibility, or simply making daily life easier, our goal is the same: helping you build a home that supports the life you want to live.

Homes for Every Stage of Life

Beautiful spaces designed around real lives.

Wynthor was started by Anna “Cate” Winters and Rob Howard. A registered nurse turned builder and a twenty-five-year construction veteran. Two people who came to construction from different perspectives with a shared belief: homeowners deserve spaces built with care, communication, and lasting craftsmanship.

Together, they built Wynthor to feel different from the typical contractor experience. More thoughtful. More transparent. More intentional. They started Wynthor to build the company they’d want to hire.

What We Build

Care for the Home and the People in it.

Every project we take on is different, but they all begin with the same question: “How can this home better support the people who live here?”
