THE NAME YOU CAN BUILD ON

A healthcare leader and an experienced builder. One shared philosophy.

Cate spent more than two decades in nursing, healthcare leadership, and disability access, fields where details, documentation, and follow-through decide the outcome. That shapes how Wynthor works today: listen closely, anticipate problems early, and keep the people at the center of every project.

Over the years she renovated multiple homes from the studs out, from full kitchen rebuilds to historic trim restoration, custom millwork, live-edge cabinetry, and tile. Today she leads strategy, client experience, and design planning, guiding homeowners through the many decisions a remodel requires and balancing beauty, function, budget, and long-term value.

Her healthcare background also gives her a rare perspective on accessibility and aging-in-place design. She knows how thoughtful choices, wider paths, sensory-considerate spaces, planning for future mobility, can improve independence, comfort, and safety without sacrificing the character of a home. Great design, she believes, should serve every stage of life.

Rob came to construction by a different path, but with the same commitment to quality. For more than twenty-five years he has built homes, managed projects, and coordinated skilled trades across Washington and Oregon. His work spans production and custom residential construction, cabinetry, and finish carpentry, giving him a deep grasp of both the technical and operational sides of remodeling.

For the past six years he has been a project manager at Pacific Crest Custom Cabinetry, overseeing complex kitchen projects across both states. Working alongside homeowners, cabinetmakers, designers, and trade partners, he learned to keep many moving parts on schedule, solve problems quickly, and hold a high standard from start to finish. That discipline is the backbone of how Wynthor runs today.

Known for practical problem-solving and calm leadership, Rob turns complicated projects into organized, manageable ones. He understands that good remodeling is equal parts craftsmanship and coordination, and he keeps every trade partner, supplier, and subcontractor moving toward the same goal.

Although we arrived at construction from different directions, we reached the same conclusion: the best projects begin by listening.

We built Wynthor to be the company we would hire ourselves.

A company grounded in craftsmanship. Guided by integrity. Built on relationships. And committed to creating spaces that stand the test of time.
